Important!! When …
Important!! When doing a “How to Care for Your Parrot” video, make sure that you haven’t taught your bird to say “Asshole Bird”. (0:17, 0:29, 0:42)

Firstly, ‘lots of …
Firstly, ‘lots of toys’ usually means more then 3, this bird doesn’t have ‘lots of toys’ but rather barely enough! Next, birds do not to well in front of windows, they do not feel safe having things all the way around there cage with no where to go. After that, your cage is WAY to small for an amazon! Even if your bird gets out daily, I doubt he can spread his wings in the cage. He also needs more then 2 perches, and some more toys! Notice the paint chipped off by his bowl? Your bird is bored!!

that water looked …

not enough toys!!! …
not enough toys!!! Careful putting a bird by a window. Make sure there’s no draft coming through. Sometimes a bird by a window can become territorial or overly noisy.

No. Make sure that …
No. Make sure that the wood is not poisinous by searching online and match the branch type with whether it is toxic or not. Manzanita is a good branch. You should provide perches that mimick real branches. Also, concrete ones are good as it takes care of their nails and the skin on the bottom of their feet.

You do not have to buy the perches in pet stores but it is usually the most convenient way to go.

Yeah that’s not recommended as a lot of branches may have some kind of pesticide on them or something else that may not be in your birds best interest to have in his cage.

Very good point! They also needed alot more toys in that cage. It was virtually empty! My conure has 7 or 8 toys in his cage at a time…. This poor bird only had 5? Not nearly enough!

The best way to ” …
The best way to “punish” a parrot when they do something wrong is to put them back into their cage for a small amount of time and ignore them. A minute or two works. If you spray them with water to punish them what do you think is going to happen when you have to teach them to bathe or when they need a bath? You don’t want your bird to associate water with negative feelings.

Nah, if you get a …
Nah, if you get a baby parrot, and raise him/her right, (meaning, to discipline them when they bite by spritzing them with a little water) they’ll understand that they aren’t supposed to do that and they’ll grow up thinking that way. But yes, they will snap at you a few times but when they do, ya have to discipline them. Never hit or yell at the parrot. I hope I helped. :)
